step down to my level,
for this poem is writin by a once
adolescent/teenage rebel.
14 was the age of my first runaway,
16 was my last,
i can remember it so clearly,
even if it did happen so fast.
Words of a mother can scar,
and the absence of a father did not allow me to see too far.
Taken advantage of?
Why Yes many times,
however my God gave me dreams, visions and one too many signs.
As i aimed the knife straight to my wrist,
i saw an angel in disguise,
he said to stand up and that when i fall they'll help me rise.
Gullable i was to believe,
that the spirits among me werent meant to decieve,
but instead of happiness all i could do is grieve.
All hope i placed among the saint,
but the taint of curruption,
alomost led to my destruction,
as the eruption of the drugs...
smoothly kicked in.
Rejected for my way of being,
I was bound to fit in.
Aloud said the crowd,
lets enjoy every minute
but a voice inside of me didnt allow me to stay too long in it.
It was the voice of my God,
who i ride next to
enjoying the wind
as we cruising down miami in His hot rod.
My name is karla i am but 20
drugs, sex, and alcohol
I've had plenty..
so daily we should pray for the youth of the nation,
to stand in formation and not allow mispresuation,
for this generation is Gods creation,
and the enemies attacks are much stronger,
Parents we must NOT allow him to take our children any LONGER!!!!
