While our precious little children die out in the streets.
Police standing behind a code of silence, they showed quite some nerve.
They should be held accountable to the people that they serve.
Politicians lying and stealing because of greed.
With no consideration for what the people need.
People getting sick, and can't afford health care.
While the Government says, the cupboards are bare.
Hardworking people living in poverty in our inner cities.
Looking for good paying jobs, and nobodies pity.
Why does it have to be this way?
Where's the love and sense of fair play?
It's time to come together, and create jobs that pay a living wage.
Time to bring our thinking out of the
stone age.
Over a month ago, two young black boys went to the park to play.
They found them drowned in the lagoon, just the other day.
People aided in the search, and donations came from all around.
Black and white united, all over town.
They put difference aside, and came together during the tragedy.
But why did it have to come at the expense of the families misery?
Treating each other with respect, shouldn't be hard to do.
We should just love one another, like the Bible told us to.
We should love one another, and kill the hate.
We should do it now, before it's to late.
Things are spiraling out of control, going the wrong way.
I ask you, where's the love and sense of fair play?
Let's love and start a new trend today.
On bended knee for one another, let's pray.
I say let's come together across racial lines.
Let's love one another and be colored blind.
It's time for love and fair play.
Time to love one another the Bible way.
God had a special purpose for these young boys, when upon this earth they came.
Let's honor their legacy, let them know their dying was not in vain.
Let's honor our Father, up above.
Let's come together, and spread the Love.
(Job 23:10) God can turn you into pure gold.
And as of this moment you can't say,
you haven't been told. Amen.

From a writing perspective, some editing and tighter phrasing would give the message extra punch. Sometimes fewer words have more power.
But keep writing! Simple heartfelt desire to live as God commands us should always be at the heart of Christian writing, so well done! God bless.
All in all it is a good piece but I did feel a little scolded while reading. I am not sure that it will have impact unless you are able to pull the reader into agreement. The rhyme is skillfully done and it is a solid message.
