According to the charts that I have read, which I picked up from the hospital 16 years ago, the doctors and child care workers said that I repeated everything that was said to me. I couldn't remember anything about that, but I do remember some things from that institution that took place.
I can remember getting hit over the head by a little girl who was about the same age as me. I can remember screaming after the incident happened. Luckily the child care worker had stopped her. I can also remember the medication in which I received as a child. I can also recall the bitter taste it had to it.
I also read in the charts that I had a brain exam done to me when I was 4 and a half years of age. It was called an eeg. I think that I can remember the procedure. I was restrained down on the bed at the providence care hospital.
I was forced to take some blood work at the hospital as well. I screamed as I saw the nurse take some blood out of my arm. The good thing about it was after she was done, I was given a chocolate bar. One time I fought so hard when my child care workers took me to get some blood work that they gave up.
As I got older, and attended public school, I got bullied for being shy, and keeping to myself. I was also used by a few schools whom I attended high school with. They wanted money from me all the time, and I didn't have a job yet accept a paper route.
When I was in my late teens to my early 20s, I felt worthless, so I resorted to alcohol. There was a Christian guy who met from a dating service, and I fell in love with him, and he wasn't in love with me. I saw that he was in love with someone else. I also felt suicidal, and I told him that.
In my late 20's I had a baby, and I was not drinking anymore. i had boyfriend at that time who was the father. I few years later i went back to school, and I was working part-time. I received a college certificate in arts and science. Most of the courses I took were in writing, and computers in word, and data processing.
At the present time, I feel that I have to get a fresh start for myself, and not be so bitter about my past, and move forward. I am taking sessions once a week called "Freedom Session" for people who had addictions to alcohol or who had been abused.
It makes me feel better that I am not alone, and I can relate to some of the problems that people have had.

Now, on the practical side, there is so much potential here for a great 'first person' account.
It's so easy to do, but you 'tell' rather than 'show'.
There are quite a few grammatical errors. Be sure to proof read and check on'Ann's and Jan's sites. There is so much there to help get our writing where it needs to be.
Keep writing, and continue doing the weekly Challenge. You will be blessed, and your writing will improve!
God bless -
Our God is an awesome God and there is no end to His love, mercy and protection.
I wish I could hug you in person, but my words will have to suffice.
Keep on writing for the LORD and your words will never cease.
GOD bless you~
Your story should be of help to others in the Freedom group sessions. Those here on Faithwriters who read your work may also be helped.
There will be many here who will encourage you in your writing. In your piece which word did you want: accept a paper route or except a paper route? Check these too words since they sound alike and are spelled similar.
Good work. Keep writing.
