Bad judgment can let person down. For example if a person worked on making a cake, and this person said that cake tastes awful. Another example would be if a person was playing baseball for the first time, and he or she doesn’t hit a home run, somebody might say that this person is not fit to play baseball. That can be discouraging!

One time at work, I made muffins, and my co-worker said that I did awful. She really hurt my feelings. I felt bad about myself. I had a very low-esteem. Sometimes I drank alcohol. Sometimes my husband said that I was more trouble than I am worth which can be very discouraging. I must have a purpose in life.

Good judgment can be more positive like saying “I like the way do your artwork or the way you help people out. Also not judging other can be a good thing, too. A lot of employers may judge people by their age, health, gender or race, but God accepts us all.

At our church we studied the theme called, “A walk across the room.” When you approach somebody across the room, your can to that person or say encouraging comments like with their wonderful talents or their kindness regardless of their race, culture, ability or gender.

We have to be careful on how we judge people. There is a verse in the bible which says, "Judge not lest ye be judged."
