Every year my brothers, and their children, and my children celebrate Christmas every year. As we open our gifts we all so excited to what each person received. During our meal when my father says grace before we eat, he always mentions the birth of our saviour, but we don’t really talk about that much.
Christmas has reached a point where it is too commercialized. Prices on appliances, winter wears, and toys are too expensive. Some end paying more than they could afford. There are Christmas concerts, and Christmas parties that we have to attend each year, and I don’t mind doing so. I look forward to seeing my daughter sing in the Christmas concert this year, too.
I like to hear the children sing Christmas carols, and put on skits. The children where my daughter attends have done a good job.
I like to play Christmas carols or hymns on my keyboard. I especially like to play “Emmual.” It’s a beautiful hymn. I also like to sing it in church. Yes, we should always remember Christ at Christmas time. I also like to remember those who were close to me such as my aunt, and my grandparents.
