Fit as a fiddle, I’m glad to report.
But don’t ask him, he’s likely to say
“Well, I’m alive but it’s early today.”
Each morning when he awakes,
He’s happy there were no earthquakes.
Thoughtfully, he checks his pants
for scorpions, spiders and biting ants.
He keeps his food locked up tight
To ward off fuzzy potato blight.
And at the slightest sound he’s sure
a meteor has fallen at his front door.
When he drives down the street,
he keeps a life raft in the back seat.
And will not walk on country roads
wary of the Spiny Tongued Toad.
He looks in every corner and nook
for spies, ninjas and regular crooks.
Late at night, he sleeps under his bed
in case the roof falls on his head.
The Lord has blessed Frank, it’s true.
He’s never had a bump, break or bruise.
But if you ask him, he will declare
“It is always best to be prepared!”
