In darkness and in stillness with no one in sight,
There are many wonders that demonstrate His might.
Mysteries to behold; set your eyes upon light,
Gaze up into the heavens, the stars shining bright.
At dawn’s early rise, there is warmth and a glow,
That tells of a brand new day, mercies that overflow.
Filling hearts with joy, wiping away all tears and sorrows.
Let perfect love, cast out fear; in and through Him grow.
The peaks of the mountains, standing so very high,
Surely speak of the presence, of him who is nigh.
Come closer, and keep drawing near, don’t be so shy,
For on the wings of eagles, your heart truly flies.
After the storm, there in the clouds, sets a rainbow,
Look up! See colors of orange, and indigo,
See also shades of red, green, purple and yellow,
Promises that there will be no more floods below.
“Take courage, and be strong, dear heart”, for God would say.
I am with you, leading and guiding you, always”.
For I know the plans too, I have for you this day,
That through it, I will forever show you My ways.
Keep looking to me. Let my embrace hold you close.
Keep reaching for me. I will never let you go.
Keep telling me your secrets. I long to hear them.
Keep coming. For I am waiting just for you, love.
