Have you ever gone into church feeling how much you've let God down during the week? You try not to look anyone in the eye, maybe sit at the back and hope no one notices you. You put on a fake smile as someone asks you how you are or how your week has been.

'Great you say.' You look pretty good on the outside but inside you feel empty, hurt, grieved. As the worship team moves into position you start to get an anticipation...now it's time to go into God's presence.

As you start to sing ever so faintly you look around. Everyone seems to be rejoicing and dancing and all you can do is shut your eyes and ask for God's help and forgiveness. Suddenly without warning you start to feel His Presence. Deep within you, you feel your heart burning, the tears well up in your eyes as you feel God embrace you in His ever loving arms. 'Oh God' you say, 'How can you ever accept the likes of me. I know I must be a disappointment to you.'

You hear His words of love and acceptance. He tells you, you are His Precious Child whom He adores. You think of all the rejection you faced during the week and your own attitude and lack of faith. What sort of person is this God who accepts me as I am and still loves me anyway? A God of grace....truly when His Children get together to worship Him He sees deep into their hearts and His love abounds to us all. Being able to walk into the throne room of God after being tainted by the world is God's Precious Grace He has to each one of us. It is like water to the thirsty man. He replenishes my soul. How I want to stay in this place forever...and one day I will. But for now I strengthen myself in His Love and Grace where He meets all my needs. How Precious is His Love to me.
