TITLE: The Tears By Trisha Jackson 06/27/07 |
|
THESE TEARS
The tears that you see I shed
Are not a result of doubt or fear,
For they are just a release
Oh, a peace, an assurance
I have in God
For he is indeed, a deliverer.
For he is my shepherd.
I shall not want.
My present help,
Tranquility, that’s what I’ve felt.
The tears that you see I shed
May appear that I am fragile.
But as I gaze up to the hills
These cares, these worries
Don’t even matter.
For he holds me in his hand
And calls me his friend
For I am strongest when I am weak.
His strength is made perfect.
Becoming humble and meek
As I bow at his feet.
The tears that you see I shed,
Express how I long to be
Alone in his presence
Then, I’ll have everything that I need.
In his great mercy and grace,
I know I can face
Whatever the future may hold.
This story never gets old.
The tears that you see I shed,
Convey just how much I am
Totally dependent on him
And confident in
His personal care of me
As the Almighty God!
