Two Roads

There are only two roads to choose from
On this short journey though life
One will lead to forever
The other to pain and strife

One of the roads is narrow
The other road is wide
But if you choose the narrow road
In Him you will abide

You see it's easy to live a worldly life
It's your life and you have free will
But the narrow road is not easy
And is often times up hill

But what would eternal life be without sacrifice
Would you still stand fast with Him?
Or would you soon find yourself drifting
And let your light go dim

No reward worth having
Ever came free or cheap
So walk in the path of the Savior
No matter how rocky or steep

For that road led to the Father
And all the riches in heaven above
And the greatest gift of all
Is God's undying love

So you see, the best part of this story is the end
Whether it's good or bad is up to you
Where you spend eternal life
Depends on what you do
