Church
Jesus left his disciples, his people
To be his witnesses in the world
To build a church through his spirit
So his Gospel could be unfurled.
Not so we could bicker and argue
Or show ourselves off with pride
But to complete the great commission
With God always by our side.
So make yourself truly humble
And put all selfishness aside.
Let the Spirit release his power
And let Him his people guide.
