Like a sand-grain in the desert,
Or some star-dust out in space,
Or a ripple on the ocean;
How insignificant my place!!

Our Great God who dwells in Heaven
Never shuts His eyes in sleep,
For the souls of all His creatures
In His tender care He keeps.

He who watches o'er the sparrow,
Will He not care for you and I?
He who grandly clothes the lily,
Made men the apple of His eye.

In the scheme of daily living,
Amid the bustle and the din,
Everyone is very busy;
How much do we consider Him?

Take time out, for a moment!
What's this rat-race all about?
What's your destination?
Have you got it figured out?

From your rising in the morning
'Till you retire to bed at night,
Does your life have real purpose?
Do you have the end in sight?

There's a reason to existence;
We're not here by random chance;
We're not part of nothingness,
Nor accidental circumstance.

God created all with purpose;
We are part of His great plan;
Though we might seem unimportant;
In His own image, He made man.

Let's live each day for God's glory;
Make Him the Lord of all we do;
When in fellowship with Jesus,
We then see life with Heaven's view.
