The heart,
Fragile and true
Bleeding,
Weeping in sorrows.
Tears pour out
With each sight
Mourning daily
Seeking you Jesus
Knowing you provide comfort.
Walking amongst the street
Seeing so many of your
Lost and starving children.
Praying they will
See your light
Shinning through me.
I’m crying out in anguish
Only imaging
Your sorrow and pain.
Day after day
As they continuously
Fall further astray.
I trust in you
Knowing the promise of comfort.
I ache,
Envisioning their confusion
Not knowing
The warmth of your blood
The forgiveness
Of their wicked ways.
