I was listening to the response of a woman who could not understand the Trinity. She was insistent that there was a God. However, she just could not buy into the Jesus and Holy Spirit concept and that the three are still one.

As a believer now for over 30 years I have seen the pragmatic response of many souls who would rather contest then confess God’s Divine Deity including His Sovereign Trinity.

In this new age world we are continually hearing the promotion of, “we are one, the trees, the mountains and all of us are one.” I don’t know about where you live, but there are a lot of new age practices happening here in Colorado. In fact I live 40 minutes from the town where the Wicca bible was first written. I have traveled to areas where demonic activity is very accepted. You probably think I mean Africa. No! I mean here in the USA. I was walking in a mall with my daughter a few years ago in Florida, and I heard a young woman say, “I wish I was a witch. I have friends who are witches, and I think that is cool!”

Well, for those of you who would rather bury your head and ignore the fact that witchcraft is alive and well, you can stop reading right here. One of the biggest problems we have here in America is our denial of such things. Now I’m not going to get into a debate with anyone. Demonic activity is alive and well and it has many times prevailed through the mode of witchcraft in our communities. Don’t get upset with me, I didn’t write the book. We are warned numerous times in scripture not to be naïve to this kind of spiritual activity.

"There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. "For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD; and because of these detestable things the LORD your God will drive them out before you. (Deuteronomy 18: 10-12).”

Long after God commanded Moses to warn His people of this abomination, King Mannasseh did exactly all of these things. You may argue and say; well that was thousands of years ago. Well how about today?

If you do an internet search for a psychic you will find that there are over 12,200,000 web pages of mediums in business or people talking about their desire to seek after one. Now this is only a psychic. How about a witch or warlock? There are over 22 million websites for witches alone. Do you still think the nostalgia of the dark world is behind us?

How do we fight against this kind of darkness? We fight with the Light of Christ. Jesus said I am the Light. Until we realize the three chord connection between God the Father, Jesus His Son and the Holy Spirit, we will remain powerless. One cannot function without the other. We cannot function without all three. It is the Father who created us and the Son who redeemed us. It is the Holy Spirit who has sealed us and called us His own. The Holy Spirit is the One who lives in us and directs us in this dark world. It is He who taps on our hearts and causes conviction when we do things that do not please God. It is the friendship of the Holy Spirit that I have become reliant upon daily to help me walk in God’s purpose for my life. The Deity of Christ cannot deny the Father and the Holy Spirit. It’s triple or nothing!
