Ocean eyes…
You crash each new breath upon me,
You flicker and change to reflect the whims,
Of the vast blue lid.

Oh Love!
Your foamy fingers reach out to meet me,
In a misty din, that ruffles the SeaMan’s starry compass,
And washes me in the crushing weight,
Of mystery.

I am jealous, Grey Eyes,
That the Son knows you better than I…
That with each morning, this orb rises,
Swelling your cold glass with fire.
And make blushing hot the waters with glory…

I am Angry, Blue Eyes,
That you know the thunderous passions,
That rip ships on a broken shore,
And toss high the cascades of an Adam voice,
I cannot quite follow…

I am scared, Green Eyes,
That I may never know your depths…
Yet I am leathered in the weathers,
I spend, scrambling at every spray,
Of your splintering waters…

I croon for you, Fire Eyes,
So I release my claim on the Furies,
That we may stand together in an immense solitude,
And know the permanent presence,
Of Fate.
