Inside of me, In spite of me,
Christ my savior lives.
Inside of me, in spite of me
Christ my Lord forgives.

Well within my sin darkened soul,
In my inmost place,
Christ Jesus makes me ever whole,
By His wondrous Grace.

Outside of me, in spite of me
God uses me each day.
Outside of me, in spite of me
God has His own way.

When I submit to His leading
Then, trust in His care,
I find that I am succeeding
For He’s always there.

All around me, in spite of me,
Others come to Him.
All around me, in spite of me
Freed from lives so grim

If ever I’m the one He uses
To reach one that’s lost
It’s in spite of my faults and bruises:
He’s…paid all the cost.
