Hospital Visit
Buildings beneath
green canopies of sweet pine;
I slide through electronic doorways,
Then clanging iron stairways to dreary
Corridors hanging pretty landscapes.
Each time I come here
To celebrate your recovery
It has to be acknowledged
That God is not
To be managed yet should always be
Relied on to do the right thing.
