God desires unity amongst us, He wants to bless us individually, as a family, as a community and even as a nation.

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity! "

Psalm 133:1 (New King James Version)

Disunity is what the devil brings in our life to create divisions amongst us.

Let's imagine our body, the head decides what all the other parts should do, If the parts of the body rebel against the head, the functioning of our body will be disturbed and we may often fall sick, for there is no harmony amongst the various parts of our body.

The Bible tells us that as believers and as a church we are the body of Christ, with Jesus Christ Himself being the head. With the same Holy Spirit leading us always, we should never have disharmony amongst us, we should wait on God for His final Word in all we do.

Satan put a thought/opinion in the minds of Adam and Eve which was different from what God had told them and they desired to entertain the thought/opinion, which ultimately led them away from God and into sin.

Often what we think is right may not be what God desires for us, thus in perfect submission to Him let God control all our decisions, for He knows the best for us.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Jeremiah 29:11 (New King James Version)

Often I have tried waiting on the Lord, for most of the important decisions of my life and believe me, initially I did not understand God's ways, yet later, I praised God and thanked Him for how wonderfully He led me.

God is never wrong, and so shall we be if we live in perfect harmony with Him and with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
