We often seek help in circumstances and situations where we need someone to hold our hands and help us reach ashore. Our own resources are exhausted and thus we seek for someone Who has it and Who is able to deliver us from our fears.

"My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth. "

Psalm 121:2

Many try to develop good contacts with influential and resourceful people so in the time of their need they may have help, however the Psalmist in the above verse has the best resource for help.

God speaks thus to us....

" if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

2 Chronicles 7:14

God is able and He desires to help us. God loves us and understands our situations and thus due to His great love, God will surely provide.

Do we seek help from God? In the time of our need do we pray?

Prayer is such a blessed experience that not just in the time of our troubles, but in every circumstances we can go to God and speak to Him. Our loving Father is always ready to hear our prayers and answer.

So let it be that when you are asked ' who will help you?' that you may answer 'I have prayed to God, My Jesus Christ will help me.'
