I was so busy yesterday,
I seemed to just run and run,
Here and there and everywhere,
I thought I'd never get done

I had to do the grocery shopping,
and had many errands to do,
and I know that you were busy elsewhere,
with all your errands too

It wasn't til the evening was gone,
that we both could sink into a chair,
and it was such a joy to me,
to look and see you there

No matter how busy the day becomes
with this thing and that chore,
I know that at the end of the day,
I'll be with the husband I adore!

Being apart even for a few hours,
reminds me that it is so true,
that absence makes the heart grow fonder,
and spilling over with love for you!

So I will start this brand new morning
a collection of hours brand new,
and think of a thousand new ways
to show how much I LOVE YOU!!
