On a lonely hill oh so long ago
Gods love was shown as he died
on an old rugged cross all alone.

What terrible pain he did endure
that day as Mary his mother cryed
as she was kneeling down to pray.

As the clouds grew dark and the
wind did blow blood ran down from
our precious savior who loved us so.

His body was placed in a toumb after
he had died but on the third day Mary
and Martha found he was not inside.

Our savior is alive and has gone to
prepare a home in the sky so look for
his coming for it is soon drawing nigh.
