Of all the mysteries I’ve ever known
Your love is my favorite one
Like the feeling you get after a summer rain
The taste of water on a hot summers day
Your love cools my inmost thoughts
Thoughts that torment me are no longer
Your love is a peaceful force at work in me

Your beauty is like that of a Rose
Although unlike a rose you do not wither
But grow better with each day that comes to pass
Your red lips taste like watermelons
Your hazel eyes look like a hundred secrets
Each word that falls off your lips is embedded in my soul

Gentle you are all of the day long
Your presence is my fortress
Eternally grateful am I to know I hold the key
That I may unlock the door to your heart
Knock Knock Knock
I am waiting outside
Waiting to enter the hearth.
