And, O, these two eyes you gave me dear Lord,
Make them see.
So as these two ears you blessed me with, O, God
Make them hear,
So that when you visit me in no time, O, God,
I may recognize you,
And stop to think that Iím rejected, dear God.
Many do grumble, and think that you donít respond, God.
For they fail to recognize thy visitation.
Even our Lord Jesus came to the world, dear God,
But the world knew him not.
Jesus even came to his own, O, God,
But his own disowned and crucified him,
Itís a pity, many are times we fail to recognize thy visitation, dear God.
Even the Jews waited for a long time, O God,
For the Messiah to come.
He came to them and spoke to them, dear God,
But they didnít recognize that Jesus was the Messiah.
They cursed him saying, he was the father of flies, Beelzebub, O God,
Yet he was the true savior from heaven.
So, help me recognize your visitation to me, O God.
