I was thinking last night as I walked the dog in the softness of the summer night air, when I looked up in the sky to see the moon, there was a haze like a gauze curtain hanging there.

Everything was softened, the edges were blurred, all the rough edges were soft to my eyes, and a feeling of peace washed over my world, calming all the cares of the day.

And it made me think of the love that we share, that spreads over everything we do, and it gives all a softness, it covers over our mistakes, and instead presents us with a love-view.

All the hardness is gone, softness is there in its place, and the world has a hush of expectant peace; there are discoveries here just waiting to be found, all it takes is this love and belief.

Whatever the day contains in its mix of good and bad, there is always this refuge to go to, when I need to be refreshed, I go to where love is, I find and just want to be with you.

Love has wrapped the two of us in a cloud, one made of grace, peace, and love, and from there all things take on a different perspective, one given to us from above.

The small things that loomed large just a little while ago, fade away in the face of love, and resentment and troubles have no place in here, they've flown away on the wings of a dove.

Even though to the outside world, nothing has changed, inside our cloud we have a new view, for with God, all is possible, and with love, all is forgivable, my world is right because I have you!

So I thank God for the summer night, for the haze that blurred my view, for it let me see things anew, that its not the outside that matters at all, its the inside full of love for you.
