I was struck this past week as I searched the internet to find a particular kind of software - I knew there were some expensive solutions out there, but what I was looking for was one that was both capable and had a small price tag.

I searched and I found one a little lower cost, but it didn't do the one thing I wanted, and then I thought I'd done it, a bare bones version I found, the price was low and the features were all there.

But when I tried it out, the limitations were clear, and the solution I thought would work well, turned out to be more trouble than it was worth, too many problems that I had to work around.

I didn't give up, and then appeared on my screen, the full-featured program that had been my goal, with all the things that I wanted, and amazingly enough, there was no price tag at all!

It was open-source software, and it came with no guarantee, but the manual had everything you needed to know, it came with all the features I'd hoped to find, and the best thing of all, it was free.

And I was reminded so clearly that our love was like this...it just took faith and trust in God to find...to realize that the most expensive way to go, the solution would not be the right kind.

I had tried all the different things to fill the hole in my heart, none worked, they just weren't the right size, until Jesus entered in and the hole was filled with His love, and I knew I'd found the greatest prize.

He changed me from within, and refined the search I was on, to be the one that He had planned for me...and He brought you to share my life, my second chance at love, we'd help each other be all we could be.

The search had seemed so long, but there were lessons I'd learned on the way, to wait till God's timing was right...for the program He'd planned for me wasn't expensive, it wasn’t hard to do, I just had to follow Him and stay in His light.

Now we both follow God's plan, the perfect program He has written, one that was written not for money, but for love, and any help we need to understand what we need to do, we just ask for help from our Father in heaven above.

Each day we find new things, new features we learn how to do, and the joy is in the learning, for its all joy, each day is brand new.... and it’s all because I'm sharing it all with you.
