Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God. But some of them became obstinate; they refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way. So Paul left them. He took the disciples with him and had discussions daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord. Acts 19:8-10 NIV

When we speak the Good News of Jesus Christ, we must not be timid. We need to share boldly. God’s word is to be proclaimed to all nations. We are the one’s responsible to carry out His mission for us.

We must also be persistent in sharing. It cannot be a case of here today and gone tomorrow. We may need to focus on a particular group for a period of time. For some it takes awhile for the message to sink in. Faith is tested, and part of our faith is perseverance. We need to work hard for that which we desire, the saving of souls.

This is not made easy by the fact that we face persecution, mild or strong. But, Christ forewarned us that this would occur. So, we should not be surprised when it comes our way.

We are running a race. The prize awaits us. We want to hear the words of the Master “Well done faithful servant.” Don’t lose heart. Victory has been won!
