My heart leaps with joy
At your towering presence
In the pressing Crowd
A pleasure to catch a glimpse of you.

My heart leaps with joy
At the thought of
Getting to see you
On any given special day.

My heart leaps with joy
When you glance in my direction
To feel the touch of your gaze
Keep this feeling within my eyes.

My heart leaps with joy
When I feel your own gladness
At being in my presence
As I feel the same in yours.

My heart leaps with joy
To touch the hem of your garment
That one brush that adds
Both healing and gives life.

My heart leaps with joy
When you make my day lovely
I hear the whisper of your care
In the words of love said in your look.

My heart leaps with joy
And it will do so time and again
Every given moment when with you
For these moments belong to our hearts alone.
