I can claim no good in my life. My life up to twenty-seven years was one of total wreckage, failures in every hour.
Up until the moment that the Lord called me to reason together with him, and he re-generated me by his mighty power.

The bible says that the way of transgressors is hard my life was no exception to this law of God in my hour.
All the way up until the appointed time, when God Almighty reached down and saved me by his mighty power.

I disdained God and his people, all his ways, viewing them as what I actually was the off scour.
That was all to change one September night when God plucked me as a brand from the fire by his mighty power.

I was carefully building sin, stacking sin upon sin as if I was in Babel building and constructing a great tower.
Then God Almighty came and knocked down the foundation out from under my construction by his mighty saving power.

I lived as though I was secured in an impenetrable fortress, nothing resembling holiness in the least was allowed in, in any hour.
Then one that was much stronger than this fort that bound me broke in and unshackled me by his mighty power.

I plead with the Lord not to ever let me become complacent with the miracle that his mighty power worked in me.
Even now after many years I still cannot fully comprehend the extent of the mighty power it took to set me free.

How else can you take a hardened criminal and set his affections on the Lord Jesus Christ as a child sitting at his feet.
It can only be explained one way and that is it took the mighty power of God to make this transformation complete.

It was not by my own merit, the Lord did not see anything good in me that put me in a position for him to choose.
This is not possible for I never did one good thing in my life I was an enemy of anything holy, only for more sin did I muse.

I had no part in my first birth and my second birth was no different, it was all of Gods mercy and grace.
It was his mighty power that established this good work, and it is still his mighty power that keeps me in the race.

I desire to spend my life bragging on Jesus and the thorough work he’s wrought in me, and it all came about by his mighty power.
It was the same power that was put forth to raise Jesus Christ from the dead, and now can be found working in me every hour.

I now know by experience that I can count on his mighty power to sustain and keep my tabernacle until it’s my time to die.
Then that same mighty power will place me directly in my Savior’s presence, and there with him I will ever abide.
