Mormons has been convicted the doctrine of exaltation which is the same as progressing eternally. This is a popular belief among participants of the LDS church around the world. Exaltation comes from old and new traditions that proponents teach called divinization. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has taught that because of the reconciliation of humans with God by the death of the Messiah, the saved will be able to take on the divine nature. The goal of Christians is to work towards holiness so that as Christ and the Father are one, adherents will be one with Christ. A verse in the Doctrines and Covenants states the persons of exaltation will be known as Gods. Living in the Celestial Kingdom in the most advanced level will be those persons that have exaltation as resurrected beings.

LDS church members has the understanding that they will get as an inheritance all of the riches that the most high God has by developing and making progression in a spiritual manner.

Mormons pay attention to the most recent seers in regards to the doctrine of exaltation. Anyways a lot of LDS scholars quote the bible in helping to enhance their support for the view of deification. Theologians also make reference to early Christian literature of the earliest centuries which has similarities to the beliefs of Christians’ in the pre-Nicean era.

Exaltation is also known as Christian deification by different scholars in and out of Mormonism.

Believers does not share the opinion of independence from the Lord and not giving him worship or cease being lower in rank in his kingdom. As Christ is the firstborn they will gain fellowship as being those of the “church of the firstborn”.
