'and Jacob was left alone.....'
To be introspective means tending to think a lot about your own thoughts, feelings etc.
One of the greatest benefits of being alone is that it gives you opportunity to be introspective.It grants you access into the innermost recesses of your being. You must realise that its in silence that the voice of God is most heard.Blaise Pascal once said all of mans misery begins when he is unable to stay in a room and be quiet.
The voice of your spirit becomes audible in the place of silence.Jacob found a place to be quiet and we see that at the end, he was able to find the answer to the dilemma of his destiny.He became Israel(Prince of God)
Find a place to be quiet with yourself and introspect.
Central Truth: When you introspect the voice of your spirit becomes audible.

PRAYER:
Lord, teach me to be quiet and to be silent.
