Only You set us free,
free so that we can worship and see
that we are no longer in our sinful prison,
we are healed because Christ is risen,

We were once foreigners and enemies of You,
then Your word revealed to us all things true,
we saw that all we did was harmful and wrong,
now we praise Your mercy through song,

For though we were born as troubled souls,
our hearts empty with a gaping hole,
You see our sorrow and all our pain,
washing away our troubles like a flood of rain,

We are not perfect, we struggle each day,
but You will guide us, always pointing the way,
for though there are trials and tests in our journey of faith,
with You on our side we will always be safe.

You guide us to love as You love all,
to enjoy Your blessings even more,
no trouble is too much for You to handle,
Your love never dies, a burning candle,

It is through You alone that there is light,
shining in the world, making all days bright,
Your glory is made known to all,
so that You can be worshiped forever more.
