Rejoice in the hope
That remains
For God has prepared
A Samuel for today
Rejoice in the dryness
The brittleness of the hour
For just a word spoken
Or a sincere turn to the right
Can spark a fire
That the Wind of the Holy Spirit
Can fan into a flame
Into the Fire of Revel
God can do nothing until
We come to the Cross
In sincere Humility
And simple Obedience
Did He not say, Wait
Did He not say, Wait
Yet some left early
And lost the Promise of Pentecost
