“He is a great man.” They said
There is fire in his eyes…
Some even say he is the fairest of a thousand.
Without doubt, he was the most popular guy in my neighborhood!
I grew up hearing stories about his exploits in far and distant lands’
In my mind I imagined a warrior, fearsome!!
The stories I heard told the tales of his demonstration of power….
But really, I wasn’t impressed that much.
I met him before but I was only quick to ask him for a miracle
Because they said he had lots of power and can do anything.
They also said he will destroy those who disobey him… I was confused and empty
Because I knew I couldn’t live by his hard laws
He‘s the King
This was crushing me knowing I’ll be damned forever
Then one afternoon in October I received an invitation to have dinner with Him…
I was not to sure what to expect... but there was one thing i wanted for sure... answers!
That night was trilling to say the least
His presence carried a mixer of fear and hope!
I marveled at the wonder of his countenance
There was nothing like it!
When he stated to speak to me, i just broke down in tears of Joy.
Standing before me was a man the world had not seen yet
He was nothing like I was told he
Later I learned from him that his name is wonderful, comforter, counselor... that day he even told me a Joke.
He told me how much he loved me.
Now he tells me every day.
What a man!
More!
Than anyone can describe
More!
He’s much more than i say he is
Much more!
Many times more that you imagine
More!
Than you can ever experience
He’s the one.
The word
The truth
The life
He’s the one. Jesus! Jesus!
More!
Than you say he is!!!
