Hi Challengeers.
Now that our South America winners have had a little bit of time in the spotlight, it's time to give a cheer to all those who didn't quite make it to the top, but did very well.
While the number of entries each week remains fairly low, I'll only be posting the top 30, instead of the top 40.
So if your entry appears on any of these lists, you did very well. Give yourself a pat on the back.
Love, Deb

This week I can clearly see how there are so many excellent stories that judging them must be very difficult.
I see many of my very favorite on the list above--Congrats to you all.
Marty--drat that 11th spot! I read one of your recent posts about your perseverance, and my hat is off to you. That is one of the most admirable traits I can think of.
Angela--are you going to let him get away with that?
Hope you all have a great week.

Congratulations everyone! Lots of great writing...
Lisa, Ken's in the other room and doesn't know yet. I'm trying to figure out if I can post a fake list with our numbers reversed

Angela, I knew your hubby's name was Ken, but I NEVER connected the dots that he was Kenneth Bridge. Where is the slap your hand on your head emoticon when you need it.
Seriously ... how on earth did I not get that?

Thanks for the encouragement. I was just pleased as punch to have gotten my first #1 placing in any category. That had me totally goin' this morning despite missing the mark on the book. I've just got to keep persevering! Right?dandelionflower wrote: Marty--drat that 11th spot! I read one of your recent posts about your perseverance, and my hat is off to you. Actually I'm kind of relieved on the near miss. If I'd hit the target, I would've been in master's next week! (yikes! )
A BIG congratulations one and all! A+ writing!

Awww, thanks. I needed a silly break and my brother's suitcase came to mind. He might be going to Bolivia on a missions trip...srashmi wrote:Congrats, everyone.
Ruth, I liked your suitcase.
