Multi-cultural
Actually, did you know smog has been in L.A. since pre-European days? The first Europeans to come to the area that is now L.A. noticed hazy air due to Native American cooking fires. L.A. is surrounded by mountains on the north, east and south, the ocean on the west. Daytime ocean breezes keep the pollutants over land, night time land breezy blow it away. So the nights are clear, days hazy.

Bright (did I just date myself? I wanted a Lite Brite so bad as a kid, I never got one, but got one for my daughter. She wasn't super impressed and my granddaughters would probably yawn at the thought. But I digress!)
