Wow. I'm humbled.
Congratulations to everyone.
Jan girl, I am SOOO glad to see you at the top of the list.
Your piece had me smiling all week. Just incredible genius! And you make it look so easy. What an inspiration!!
By the way, I changed my Username to ELIZA EVANS
I *always* write under a pen name (weird I guess) and Cleo Cleo looks kind of dumb.

Whether you're Cleo or Eliza, you're an excellent writer.

Congratulations to all the winners--really enjoyed some great stories. Was so happy to see Verna and Dee and Jan and Michelle and Cleo Cleo and the other winners up there.
With so much talent, it would be easy for a superb entry not to make it into the top ten (I don't mean mine ). There was one in advanced--"From Wilberforce to Obama"--that I was hoping it would get "official" recognition. Nevertheless, it was masterful in every way.
There are other stories, too, that were top-notch and didn't make it in. I salute all of you who put your best efforts forward.
May God continue to bless us through your ink.

Thanks. It was gratifying in a non-competing, killing two birds with one stone, genre-mastering sort of way. (Some of you will get it!)Symphonic wrote:Congratulations Jan, Cleo, Steve, and all the rest!
