Congratulations, Lynda, Shelley, and Lisa.
Now, I'll enjoy a year away from the contest, and sometime next year, start thinking about what to submit for the 2011 Pageturner.

Thank you so much!! I am obviously thrilled and amazed. Truly. It would have been awesome to walk away with a highly commended again. But to win...wow. I am totally surprised and humbled, too. I know there were a slew of wonderful entries - there's so much talent here!
I did blog about it today if you'd like to read my reaction there, but basically I just hope to finish this novel by Spring (I'm about 22,000 words in so far). Then the hard work begins...the editing and pitching it to editors and/or agents. I intend to pitch it hard at the ACFW conference in September.
So again, thanks to all of you for your congrats (my Facebook status is overloaded with comments, too!). I love every one of you!
And a HUGE congrats to Lisa and Shelley! WOOOOOO-HOOOOO!!! I'd love to read your chapters or at least get a brief synopsis...hint, hint.

Congratulations to Lynda and the other winners.
We're all so proud of you. One of these years when I have more experience under my belt, I might even give it a try but I'm not there yet. All the more to give honor and respect to those who are able to write so eloquently.

Although I've posted it elsewhere, I'd like to say congrats again to Lynda and Lisa here, too. And also thank everyone for all of the congratulatory messages both here and other places. I can't begin to tell you what a thrill it was to see my name on that list!Writetrack wrote: And a HUGE congrats to Lisa and Shelley! WOOOOOO-HOOOOO!!! This also finally prompted me to FINALLY update my poor, long neglected blog.
I'm not sure yet whether or not I will post the first chapter (or excerpts from it)... I want to do some checking on the ramifications on possible future publication before I decide on that. I did post the short teaser / synopsis I included with my entry, though, if anyone would like to see that.

Once again, CONGRATS again to Lynda and Lisa and a huge thank you to the judges and to all of you for such lovely messages! FaithWriters are the BEST!!!

Forgot to mention... I'd love to read the synopses and/or excerpts from any (or all!) of the Page Turner entries.
That's the only thing I don't like about the Page Turner... you can't read all of the entries like you can with the weekly challenge.
So if anyone who entered would like to post (or post a link to, or send privately) anything from their entry I, for one, would love to read it! I'm sure others would, too!
