I’m not second-hand trash
If God gave his Son upon that tree
I can’t be bought for cash.
I must be quite the wealthy sort
My Father owns it all
They know my name in Heaven’s court
And God answers when I call.
I am worth a lot to God
Who watched his Son endure
So someday soon I’ll only trod
On streets of gold so pure.
My treasures are beyond compare
I’m richer than most men
My Father’s given me more than my share
I’m a millionaire times ten.
I may not seem affluent here
I’m barely getting through
But I need not fret nor shed a tear
He provides like He promised to.
I’m worth a million, rich as can be
He proved my worth on the cross
He paid an unreal price for me
His own blood to save me from loss.
