without delay or fail
From the Old Testament
we find it fulfilled
in You—the person Christ
From Your birth
death and resurrection
they took place
according to the Scriptures
We’re awaiting Your coming reign
You’re the promised
Messiah
who came to die
and delivered
us from our sins
You’re the Man of Sorrows
who is not untouched
by pains and sufferings
so we can cry out to You
and find comfort and care
You’re the Word
in the beginning
and came to live among us
from above
You now lives in us by the Spirit
I therefore say
I can do all things
through You
who strengthen me
and give me grace
You usher
in the Kingdom
we are Your citizens
on earth
enjoying spiritual peace and blessings
Haven’t You promised us
that in the world
we’ll have tribulation
but we can take courage and have peace
because You’ve overcome the world.
Help us Lord
say Your will be done
not You saying
to us
your will be done
Come Lord
Let Your promised Kingdom come
and transform
the chaotic broken world
into Your peace and glory
