I did my social worker internship at an adult day health care facility, and several of the people in attendance had TBI. Some did keep up note books like you spoke of. I've never considered how those journals could symbolize a type of restraint in a person's world. Good job telling the story.

It is difficult living with a TBI or any invisible disability.

Yesterday, my brother-in-law went to his speech therapist. She asked about his notebook. He replied, "I was thinking about writing in it, but that's as far as I got."
