With noble character,
And to my husband, let me be
A true encourager.
May I be gentle in my ways,
Softspoken, never mean,
Considerate of words I say,
And how they might be seen.
And may I treat him with respect
As St. Paul did admonish,
Show him the honor that I should,
And that I know he’d wish.
May I have real humility
And not be filled with pride.
May I consider his needs first,
Put selfishness aside.
Lord, may I be industrious,
And known to be a worker,
Not with the reputation of
A woman who’s a shirker.
And may I be benevolent
To all who are in need.
Within my home and elsewhere, too,
May kindness be my creed.
I’ll need a lot of help, You know,
In every circumstance.
It’s only as You guide each day
That this prayer has a chance.

Excellent! Your last stanza is the epitome and embodiment of your poetic message shared in the humblest and simplest way possible. On your own, you can do nothing to capture another's full body, soul and spirit. But with the Holy Spirit - the Executive Agency of The Godhead, everything is possible.
