Oh, I just love this piece. It's so beautiful with a touch of subtle humor and oh so very true. This made me nod, smile, chuckle, and picture my own kids and grandchildren.
Wonderful job with the topic.
I enjoyed this,
thank you.
Every parent or grandparent can identify with this precious poem. You've very tenderly and with humor described the blessing that our children and grandchildren continue to be, no matter what their age. Good rhyme, good meter. Well done.
I really enjoyed this poem on some of the biggest blessings in life.
Love the touches of humor and also the poignant ones. It's a lovely reminder of how fast the years go by. Very well done.

My husband and I have lived through each cycle. Your lovely poem brought memories and a smile to my day. Very nice.
I think every grandparent can relate to this! I know that every time our grands come to visit, we enjoy the time, but after every visit my husband does the same thing. He puts a hand behind an ear and says, "Do you hear that? Blessed silence."

Lovely poem - one thing I might change is the line,

They seemed like little angels then
When they’d not make a peep.

They seemed like little angels then
When they’d make not a peep.

To me that just flows better,
Well done! Sweet.
