Be it known that there has been a rare outbreak of a peculiar rash in our school system. It began among the students who attend the after-school religious activities, and it is infiltrating every class and program of our schools.
Be aware that this strange rash is very contagious and spreads through personal contact. Victims show symptoms immediately. Those infected display changes of unusual behavior. Their speech may not be recognizable to their former friends. They may begin spending more time with other victims of this outbreak. Those infected become diligent in their studies and classes. Their attendance rate and grade averages greatly improve. The uncharacteristic symptoms even show up in sports. The students show extreme zeal, honesty, and fair sportsmanship. They display unexpected kindness to their fellow students, even to those on rival teams – thus infecting other school systems.
There doesn’t appear to be any antidote, and research shows that, although the initial symptoms often calm down, it remains in their body for the rest of their lives. If you think your child or student shows any of these symptoms, you may contact the school nurse, but more importantly, don’t feel obligated to restrict their activities or contact with others. More information may be obtained at the main superintendent’s office. I have been speaking to Pastor Stephens, who leads the after-school Bible study. He patiently gave me a clear explanation, and I can share it with you.
