Start with the zest of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. (John 4:16)
Fold in love for others before yourself. (Mark 12:3)
Make sure you use the Bible to clarify your life when things get murky. (I Cor. 13:12)
Mix in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Gal. 5:23)
If your worries get the best of you, chill out and let God handle it. (I Peter 5:7)
Reduce dependence on yourself. God is all you need. (John 15:5)
Stir in all the blessings from God. (Eph. 1:3)
When negative things grate on your nerves, remember that all things work for good. (Rom. 8:28)
Do not stew in your past failures and sins. They are forgotten, and are as far as the east is from the west. (Psalm 103:12)
Do not steam when others don't understand the message of Christ. (I Cor. 1:23)
Yield may vary, and desired results are not guaranteed. God is the ultimate chef of this recipe. His results may not be what we think they should be, but will always be perfect in His eyes.
And remember, with God, we can always go full steam ahead. He knows what's ahead.
