Amid this world of terror
Where evil seems to win
Remind us of your power, Lord
And stir us up again
You know our every burden
You see our loss and pain
Remind us of your comfort, Lord
And stir us up again
You said the world would hate us
But you would be our friend
Remind us you are with us, Lord
And stir us up again
Eternal life you’ve offered
Forgiveness from our sin
Remind us you are risen, Lord
And stir us up again
Though we were lonely strangers
You’ve made us next of kin
Remind us we are family, Lord
And stir us up again
We make requests in prayers
That you’ve taught us to send
Remind us you are listening, Lord
And stir us up again
When questions overcome us
We need to know your plan
Remind us of your Bible, Lord
And stir us up again
When we require much courage
To claim you among men
Remind us of your deity, Lord
And stir us up again
When this world turns against us
On you we can depend
Remind us you are faithful, Lord
And stir us up again
We know you’re coming back soon
We’re just not sure of when
Remind us of our future, Lord
And stir us up again
