to an enchanted Realm of Dreams,
to where kings and queens and wizards wild
cast spells in sparkling beams.
Through cotton clouds of expectation,
we soared to castles in the air,
to play amongst the fairy dust
and leave behind our worlds of care.
We crossed mighty seas on Viking ships,
and fought dragons along the way,
in our quest to venture far beyond
the fences of Everyday.
We landed on those Silver Shores
bejeweled with tiny stars,
and our shoes became as crystal slippers
and ate honey in amber jars.
We rode on wheels of golden horses
on journeys that never end,
up and down and all around,
we rode and rode again.
We scaled tall mountains of icy snow
to the peaks that touched the sky,
and there we saw the world beyond,
the world of Why-Not-Why.
We all went there and back again
to a world we never knew,
the world where dreams come to be,
and wishes do come true.
