Barren, Beleaguered - if I’m being frank.
Besieged by Bare Bleakness, I stare into space,
Brainwaves all Banished to some far-off place.
Busyness, Battling with Burdens and Blows
All take a toll – ask a writer, he knows!
Broken and empty, muse gone on a tour,
Yes B is for Brain-dead, of that I am sure.
L is for Longing, for Lending my ear,
Listening to, Learning from, One standing near.
Loving His voice as His clear tones increase,
Learning to write and not wanting to cease.
(‘Lend me assistance Lord, help me to write
Life-pointing words from your Gospel of Light.
Let not my Love for You ever grow dim.’)
L is for Longing to write just for Him.
O is to Overcome dark doubt and pain
Of fears that past writing has all been in vain.
O’s also for Out-reach to touch and to bless
Others who may be in need or distress.
O is to Open my soul and my heart,
O is to Overflow - Just let me start!
Opportunity hovers, dare I write again?
O is to Overcome – Go, pick up that pen!
C comes as a Challenge when I’m feeling fraught
To Capture, for Christ, every word, every thought.
C is to Cherish and grow in His Word,
Fashioning my thinking and ideas stirred.
C stands for Creation, outstanding beauty.
C bows in amazement at dark Calvary.
C Comes to the Saviour, with joy my heart sings,
C Challenges me deeply to write of these things.
K is for Keeping on going e’en when
The hiccups and blocks rise up now and again....

The repetitive letters even show the "stuttering" feeling when my mind is blocked.
Well done!
Great thoughts - love how it leads back to finding inspiration from God alone.
Well done
