I surrender - I’m falling into you
Save me from these darkened shadows and ugly scars too
I long to hear you speak to me
But carry on, I do
Until the end, around each bend
Peace in me renew
You are my hope, let the healing begin
Your grace my shelter, with each breath I breathe in.
Weak and weary from the fight
But wrapped in your arms where I belong
Still, every moment a gift from above
So, let it rain, I’m ready to move on
You alone can set me free,
Your voice to call my name
Out of the darkness and into light
I’m ready for the change
You are my hope, let the healing begin
Your grace my shelter, with each breath I breathe in.
In the midst of my darkest hour
I trust in your grand design
Grant me the courage to let go
To release this dread of dying
You are with me – I’m not alone
Be my comforter this day
Let your healing waters flow
Please, help me find my way…
