“We are shimmering bubbles bumping and bouncing off each other. And rarely, but beautifully, when two bubbles “kiss” and merge into one, our friendship deepens, the flatteries become truths, and communication has truly become.”

Defining friendship:
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
"Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between two or more people.
[1] Friendship is a stronger form of interpersonal bond than an association. Friendship has been studied in academic fields such as sociology, social psychology, anthropology, and philosophy. Various academic theories of friendship have been proposed, including social exchange theory, equity theory, relational dialectics, and attachment styles.
A World Happiness Database study found that people with close friendships are happier.
[2]Although there are many forms of friendship, some of which may vary from place to place, certain characteristics are present in many types of friendship.
Such characteristics include affection, sympathy, empathy, honesty, altruism, mutual understanding and compassion, enjoyment of each other's company, trust, and the ability to be oneself, express one's feelings, and make mistakes without fear of judgment from the friend."

True friendship links hearts beating to the One Who graces us with His Love – everlasting.
A bit of heart cleansing:
I’m a lousy friend. I’m ashamed to admit,
I won’t call or write, I'm too slow of wit.
Michael – my true love, my heart and my soul,
We truly are one, two halves God made whole.
A man without lies, who loves me because
I love him. Our heartbeats are love’s sweet applause.
Daisycrazybelle forgives me, loves me too,
Helps me declutter, thoughtful and who
Laughs at my stories, cries when I’m sad,
She/s one of the besties I ever had.
Jannie, a glory to God and to me,
Never a moment do we disagree.
She seeks my heart as I truly care,
We talk and uphold each other in prayer.
To speak of dear Angel, words cannot express
her comfortable shoulders, her sweet helpfulness.
Her passion for living, her kindness sublime,
A true bestie she is – will be for all time.
And then Torianna, we adopted each other,
She being my daughter, me being her mother.
She plies me with her sweet loving advice
She studies nutrition, eats nothing that’s white.
Now, my sister Barb, my true “Barbie Doll”,
Addicted to chocolate, hugs when I call.
Lives life as a ‘brownie” - most helpful and kind
Cute and endearing, who weeps for mankind.
Mary, ah Mary, who mothers us dear,
Feeds me fried onions, crisp bacon and near
When we need her, a comforting fit
She sabbaths with us, sharing God’s writ.
Snuffy, our pup who fawns on my breast
Drooling and begging for all that tastes best,
Fifi, our kitty, Snuffy’s true love
The two are a match, as ball to a glove.
I am blessed with many aspiring “besties” - but the incomparable sweetness of a friendship that offers more than it receives – that loves the unlovable and transcends the believable, is the Friendship that God offers through Jesus, our living, loving Savior.
May we grow to love as He does.
Job 16:20-21
"My intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God; on behalf of a man he pleads with God as a man pleads for his friend."

KJV Dictionary Definition:
FRIEND'SHIP, n. frend'ship.
"1. An attachment to a person, proceeding from intimate acquaintance, and a reciprocation of kind offices, or from a favorable opinion of the amiable and respectable qualities of his mind.
Friendship differs from benevolence, which is good will to mankind in general, and from that love which springs from animal appetite. True friendship is a noble and virtuous attachment, springing from a pure source, a respect for worth or amiable qualities.
False friendship may subsist between bad men, as between thieves and pirates. This is a temporary attachment springing from interest, and may change in a moment to enmity and rancor.
There can be no friendship without confidence, and no confidence without integrity.
There is little friendship in the world.
The first law of friendship is sincerity.
2. Mutual attachment; intimacy.
If not in friendship, live at least in peace.
3. Favor; personal kindness.
His friendships, still a few confined, were always of the middling kind.
4. Friendly aid; help; assistance.
5. Conformity; affinity; correspondence; aptness to unite.
We know those colors which have a friendship with each other.
Not common and hardly legitimate."

The last part of our Lord was lovely and I think it would have been a sweet ending and smooth flow if written in as a last stanza in the same meter as the other stanzas.
All in all I so enjoyed and so nicely written!
Great job!
You've packed so much inside the word limit - amazing!
I would have liked the passage about Jesus to have been worked into the poem too. Not that what you did was bad or poorly written, quite the opposite, I just feel it would have made a nice close to one section as it transitioned to the next.
But this really is an excellent devotional and is well worth meditating on.
Blessings.
