This is a wonderful story about love and trust.

I noticed a typo-waste instead of waist.

I enjoyed the suspense in the end. It seemed the MC had her prayers answered. I can't help what would have happened if she had told her husband the truth. But it's a great lesson on how prayer works, and the importance of communication.
Great drama in this. Liked how you showed that in God's timing, the MC would have the right moment to tell her husband about being pregnant. For me...it got him home alive! Also felt he "needed" to conquer that mountain in order to let go of it. Good story!

Stan, your story was a real favorite of mine this week...i agree it has good dialogue, descriptions, suspense and love...love how the news of his child gave him the strength to conquer.
And yes, I ventured into a new format last week and was pleasantly surprised.Keep up your great work!
Congratulations for placing in the top 15 of your level and in the top 30 overall.
